The comic I drew for my contribution to the calendar is about the story behind « Story of O. » , the well known and controversial erotic novel written by Anne Cécile Desclos aka. Pauline Réage in 1954.
In a world where the male gaze dominates pornography, what is the place of the female gaze?
Is there even space for something else than the male gaze, and if so, what does it look like? That were the questions that accompanied me while I was reading about Anne Cécile Desclos and « Story of O. »
